Job Summary
The Physical Therapy Aide will support physical therapists in delivering superior rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in fostering a welcoming environment while assisting with various administrative and clinical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment procedures.
- Prepare treatment areas and maintain equipment for therapy sessions.
- Help in patient mobility and positioning during therapy activities.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of clinic spaces.
- Engage with patients to provide encouragement and support throughout their rehabilitation.
- Handle scheduling and administrative tasks to aid clinic operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in a healthcare or rehabilitative setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Must be physically fit to assist with lifting and moving patients.
- Basic knowledge of rehabilitation practices is a plus.
