Job Summary
The role involves providing in-home physical therapy services under the oversight of a licensed Physical Therapist. The main focus is to assist patients in enhancing their mobility, strength, balance, and independence through personalized therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home therapy sessions to improve patient mobility and functionality.
- Instruct patients and caregivers on appropriate exercises and safe movement techniques.
- Record visit details and patient progress in WellSky/Kinnser software.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient progress and any concerns.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Possession of a current California Physical Therapy Assistant license.
- CPR/BLS certification is required.
- Reliable means of transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes.
- Preferred experience in home healthcare and familiarity with Kinnser/WellSky software.
