Job Summary
The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for implementing treatment plans created by a Physical Therapist, as well as providing support with record maintenance. This role involves educating both patients and their families while guaranteeing high standards of care in accordance with departmental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Execute treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
- Assist in maintaining accurate patient records.
- Provide education to patients and their families about treatment processes and goals.
- Ensure compliance with departmental guidelines to maintain quality care.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Possession of a valid and current PTA license.
- Awareness of universal precautions and understanding of age-specific care requirements.
