Job Summary
The Physician specializing in Addiction Medicine will primarily focus on providing care and treatment for patients grappling with substance use disorders. This role will require the physician to be on-call to address urgent patient needs and to effectively coordinate care plans.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive evaluation and treatment for individuals facing addiction challenges.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide timely medical support to patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about addiction, recovery, and ongoing care.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with a specialization in Addiction Medicine or relevant experience.
- Board certification in Addiction Medicine is preferred.
- Strong understanding of substance use disorders and treatment methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to on-call needs promptly.
