Job Summary
The physician will be responsible for assessing and providing treatment to patients, overseeing hospital admissions, and engaging in academic research as well as medical education initiatives. The role emphasizes the delivery of high-quality, cost-efficient healthcare services while also managing insurance documentation and addressing any denials that may arise.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients effectively.
- Manage the admission process for patients to the hospital.
- Participate actively in academic research projects.
- Contribute to medical education programs.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective patient care.
- Handle insurance documentation and manage denials appropriately.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree required.
- Licensure by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners is mandatory.
- Advanced Life Support certification is preferred.
