Job Summary
The Physician plays a pivotal role in delivering medical care and treatment to patients as part of the hospice interdisciplinary team. This position emphasizes the provision of clinical guidance to both staff and volunteers, ensuring that the standards of care remain exceptionally high.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive medical care and treatment to hospice patients.
- Offer clinical oversight and support to hospice staff and volunteers.
- Work collaboratively with attending physicians for optimal patient care.
- Engage in clinical education and training initiatives to enhance staff competencies.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Physician degree (MD/DO).
- Deep knowledge and expertise in hospice or end-of-life care practices.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse healthcare teams.
- Experience in clinical education and mentorship is preferred.
