Job Summary
The GKT plant in Savannah, Georgia, is seeking a dedicated Plant Operator to manage the handling and storage of both liquid and dry bulk products. This role involves overseeing essential operations within our facility, which is recognized as the largest independent liquid bulk operation in the region. The successful candidate will showcase their ability to work autonomously and contribute to the plant’s efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage the handling, storage, and distribution of liquid and dry bulk products.
- Ensure safe operational practices in the plant environment.
- Utilize forklifts or similar equipment effectively.
- Monitor and maintain equipment performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Plant Operator or in a similar role.
- Demonstrated forklift operation skills or experience with comparable machinery.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork capabilities.
