Job Summary
This position offers senior platform engineering support for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Cloud Computing Environment (CCE) infrastructure. The role encompasses the implementation of hardware and software solutions as well as providing Tier 3 support. The candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive design documentation, producing project estimates, and overseeing the monitoring of infrastructure to ensure effective service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of hardware and software components within the DFAS CCE infrastructure.
- Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshooting for system issues and outages.
- Develop thorough design documentation to aid in infrastructure management and operational procedures.
- Estimate project timelines and resource requirements effectively.
- Monitor infrastructure performance to guarantee optimal service delivery and rectify any discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise systems engineering.
- Proven expertise in Windows Server administration.
- Active Secret security clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Holder of relevant certifications such as Security+ and Azure AZ-801/802.
