Job Summary
The primary objective of this role is to guide and nurture a team of backend and full-stack developers, while actively engaging in architecture design and essential development tasks. The individual will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, performance, and scalability of vital web services and data layers by implementing recognized engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of backend and full-stack engineers.
- Participate hands-on in architecture design and critical-path development.
- Ensure the core web services and data layers are reliable, high performing, and scalable.
- Implement established engineering standards to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Extensive knowledge of modern web technology stacks.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and scaling systems for high-traffic applications.
