Job Summary
The Press Operator plays a crucial role in the production process by configuring and operating the extrusion press to transform aluminum into components that align with customer requirements. This position also entails overseeing process metrics, examining samples for quality assurance, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the extrusion press for aluminum parts production.
- Monitor and analyze process data to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct quality inspections on samples to meet specifications.
- Maintain a tidy and safe working area to promote efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong skills in using measuring tools and understanding die drawings.
- Basic computer proficiency is needed.
