Job Summary
The Prevention Specialist II is tasked with executing prevention services, carrying out screenings for HIV, Hepatitis C, and substance abuse, as well as coordinating necessary interventions. Additionally, this role involves overseeing data management, ensuring the accuracy of quality assurance documentation, and organizing community outreach initiatives to connect clients with essential care services.
Responsibilities
- Implement prevention services for clients.
- Conduct screenings for HIV, Hepatitis C, and substance abuse.
- Facilitate interventions to support client health and well-being.
- Manage the entry of data and maintain quality assurance documentation.
- Coordinate community outreach events to link clients with appropriate care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Human Services or Social Work.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
- Understanding of HIV, Hepatitis C, and STD prevention strategies.
