Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Principal Engineer – Systems to join our team in Boulder, Colorado. This onsite position is focused on the engineering, securing, and management of complex Unix systems, particularly Linux and FreeBSD environments. Responsibilities
- Engineer and maintain secure Unix-based systems, primarily focusing on Linux and FreeBSD.
- Manage complex operating systems, network configurations, and storage solutions.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance Cybersecurity Maturity Model practices.
- Oversee the performance and reliability of system architecture, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and contribute to the organization’s strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, with a strong focus on Unix systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux and/or FreeBSD environments.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to systems and network configurations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
