Job Summary
The Principal Security Engineer is designated as the top technical expert in the realms of cloud, application, and enterprise security. This role is pivotal in formulating architectural designs and establishing standards within an AWS-centric framework. The engineer will spearhead intricate security projects, incorporate security measures into CI/CD workflows, and guarantee adherence to healthcare compliance regulations, including HIPAA and HITRUST.
Responsibilities
- Act as the senior authority for security architecture and standards within an AWS-based environment.
- Lead and manage complex security initiatives to bolster the organization’s security posture.
- Integrate security controls seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines to enhance security measures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA and HITRUST.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in security, cloud, or infrastructure engineering.
- Substantial hands-on experience with AWS environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Strong knowledge in network security and security automation techniques.
