Job Summary
The Production Planner is responsible for orchestrating the production schedule to ensure that products are manufactured in a timely and efficient manner. This role involves coordinating with various departments to optimize production processes and meet company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the production schedule based on demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with teams in procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to enhance production workflows.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of materials while minimizing excess stock.
- Identify potential production bottlenecks and propose solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Report on production performance metrics and make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in production planning or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
