The Production Planner/Buyer is responsible for overseeing manufacturing schedules, determining material needs, and managing procurement processes to guarantee timely delivery and optimal inventory management. Responsibilities
- Manage and create production schedules to meet delivery timelines.
- Assess material requirements for manufacturing processes.
- Procure necessary materials and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Collaborate with different departments to identify and resolve supply chain challenges.
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources within the plant.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in production planning or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, notably Epicor.
- An associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
