Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for overseeing project definition, timelines, and budget assessments while creating intricate electrical designs and specifications. In addition to technical responsibilities, the role includes providing on-site support, guiding junior engineers, and spearheading business development initiatives to obtain professional service agreements.
Responsibilities
- Manage the scoping of electrical engineering projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and cost estimates.
- Create comprehensive electrical designs and specifications.
- Offer field support to ensure project execution aligns with design intent.
- Mentor and train junior engineering staff.
- Lead efforts in business development to secure service contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience post-licensure.
- Expertise in electrical power system modeling.
- Knowledge in construction management practices.
