Job Summary
The Project Engineer serves as the key on-site resource for overseeing capital projects, addressing engineering requirements, and facilitating activities within the facility by effectively bridging corporate teams and operational functions. This role entails managing documentation related to projects, overseeing budgets, coordinating schedules, and supervising contractor engagement, all while offering practical troubleshooting and assistance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate capital projects and engineering activities between corporate teams and facility operations.
- Manage project documentation, ensuring all records are updated and accurate.
- Oversee budgets and schedules to maintain project timelines and financial plans.
- Supervise contractor activities to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Provide on-site troubleshooting and technical support as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Project or Lead Engineering roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with a preference for Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to execute physical tasks, including climbing and lifting.
- Willingness to work weekends and extended hours during shutdown periods.
