The Prototype Engineer will design, fabricate, and test functional prototypes for next-generation scientific instruments while ensuring system integration and manufacturability. They will collaborate with R&D teams to iterate designs based on test results and maintain comprehensive documentation of all development processes. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or Mathematics with at least 3 years of experience in product development and engineering. Proficiency in hands-on fabrication techniques, CAD software, and mechanical/electrical system design is required.
