Job description
**Job Title: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner**
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the assessment and management of individuals facing psychiatric and mental health challenges. This role includes the authority to prescribe medications and carry out both physical and psychosocial assessments. The practitioner will collaborate with a diverse interdisciplinary team to deliver care in both outpatient and residential settings, ensuring the maintenance of comprehensive medical documentation and consulting with physicians as necessary. Applicants are required to possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing alongside a Master’s degree in Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing, and must hold a current, unrestricted PMHNP certification from the ANCC. Candidates should also have experience interacting with patients of all ages and be knowledgeable in the administration of Suboxone.
