Job description
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments, managing medication, and offering clinical guidance for an adult multidisciplinary team specializing in Serious Mental Illness (SMI). This role involves working closely with primary care providers to promote a comprehensive health approach while ensuring meticulous medical record-keeping and adherence to legal and ethical standards. Applicants must hold a PMHNP license in Arizona with full prescribing privileges and a valid DEA registration. Additionally, a minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health environment and a Level 1 fingerprint clearance are essential.
