Job description
The psychologist will administer psychological assessments and interviews to assess the emotional and intellectual capabilities of applicants for the NYPD. This role includes compiling findings and ensuring meticulous documentation of test performance outcomes. Applicants are required to have a doctoral degree in a pertinent area of psychology or to fulfill designated graduate coursework and supervised training. Additionally, a valid psychologist license from the New York State Department of Education is essential for this role.
