Job Summary
The QC Chemist I position involves conducting various tests and analyses to ensure the quality of chemical products. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with industry standards and contributes significantly to overall product quality. The incumbent will work within a team setting to carry out assigned tasks effectively and to uphold laboratory protocols and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform analytical tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet specified quality standards.
- Document all testing results and maintain accurate laboratory records.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Assist in the investigation of product quality issues and participate in corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during all experiments and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Understanding of laboratory techniques and quality control practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in computer applications related to laboratory work.
