Job Summary
The QA Tester is responsible for overseeing and organizing testing activities for applications within an Agile development team, aimed at delivering software of exceptional quality. This role involves a thorough examination of requirements, conducting a range of testing types, and ensuring meticulous documentation of tests and defect tracking processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage application testing efforts within an Agile framework.
- Analyze functional specifications and application requirements.
- Carry out various forms of testing to guarantee software quality.
- Maintain detailed documentation of testing processes and defect tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Possession of a Scrum Master certification.
- Capability to achieve a DHS Trusted Tester certification.
