Job Summary
The Quality Engineer acts as the main point of contact for customer-related quality issues and spearheads investigations that involve multiple departments to determine root causes. This role is essential for upholding the Quality Management System and fostering ongoing enhancements in manufacturing practices.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for addressing customer quality inquiries.
- Lead cross-departmental investigations to identify the root causes of quality issues.
- Maintain and manage the Quality Management System effectively.
- Drive initiatives aimed at continuous improvement within manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a quality engineer in a manufacturing setting.
- Solid understanding of structured problem-solving techniques.
- Familiarity with industry standards in regulated environments, such as AS9100 or FDA regulations.
