Job description
**Quality Engineer**
The Quality Engineer assists the Quality Manager in enhancing and overseeing the quality and food safety systems at a sourdough production facility. Responsibilities encompass handling customer complaints, executing root cause analyses, and tracking quality KPIs to foster ongoing improvements. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in food science, engineering, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing sector. A solid understanding of FSMA, HACCP, and GMP standards is necessary, as are proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities.
