Job Summary
The X-ray Technician will be responsible for conducting X-ray imaging procedures within an acute care hospital environment. This role involves ensuring that all imaging tasks are performed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety. The technician will also manage patient documentation utilizing Epic charting software.
Responsibilities
- Execute X-ray imaging procedures in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Utilize Epic software for precise patient record management.
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols in an acute care setting.
- Maintain and ensure the functionality of imaging equipment.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Valid California CRT license including a Fluoroscopy permit.
- ARRT (R) certification required.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in X-ray imaging.
- Current BLS certification is necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
