Job Summary
The Radiology Manager is tasked with supervising daily functions, coordinating staff schedules, and enhancing workflow effectiveness across various imaging techniques and sites. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring adherence to regulations, overseeing budgetary allocations for the department, and promoting a culture focused on patient safety and quality care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the radiology department.
- Manage staff scheduling to ensure optimal workflow.
- Enhance efficiency across multiple imaging modalities and locations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Administer departmental budgets effectively.
- Encourage a culture centered on patient safety and quality service.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
- At least 5 years of experience within hospital imaging services, or a bachelor’s degree paired with 3 years of business experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Thorough understanding of radiology workflow operations.
