The Radiology Technician plays a crucial role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures. This position involves utilizing advanced imaging technologies to assist in the diagnosis of various medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Executing imaging examinations such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintaining and operating imaging equipment in compliance with relevant safety regulations.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results effectively.
- Documenting and managing patient data accurately.
Qualifications
- Completion of a relevant associate degree or certification in Radiologic Technology.
- Current certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Strong understanding of imaging equipment and technology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
