Job Summary
The Receiving Team Lead oversees the complete process of handling incoming materials, which encompasses auditing, replenishment, and inventory management. This role is crucial in guaranteeing the precise receipt of goods, upholding safety protocols, and mentoring new staff members within the team.
Responsibilities
- Manage all functions related to inbound material handling.
- Conduct frequent audits to ensure accuracy in receiving goods.
- Oversee the replenishment process to maintain inventory levels.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards within the team.
- Provide training and support to new team members to enhance their skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a receiving department within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating forklift equipment.
- Experience with SAP ERP systems is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
