Job Summary
The Regional Class A Driver position is integral to our logistics team, responsible for transporting goods across designated regions in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to federal and state transportation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to deliver products to various locations within the specified region.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle service records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any issues that may arise during transportation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while driving.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in transportation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
