Job description
The Research Technician is tasked with preparing intricate liquid and solid growth media, as well as managing and upkeeping specialized laboratory instruments. This role includes maintaining sterility by applying aseptic methods and conducting regular quality control assessments on the media produced. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in life sciences and a solid foundation in biology, chemistry, and sterile lab procedures. Candidates should also be adept at performing calculations and measurements and must be able to lift weights of up to 75 lbs.
