Job Summary
The Resident Care Assistant is responsible for delivering compassionate assistance with daily living activities. This role involves supporting residents in tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, while also closely observing their health status and documenting any changes.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor and document changes in residents’ health conditions.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide high-quality care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Basic knowledge of resident care principles is necessary.
- Prior experience in long-term care is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus.
