Job Summary
The Resident Care Associate plays a crucial role in delivering personalized support and assistance to residents, ensuring their daily needs are met with dignity and respect. This position involves fostering a warm and nurturing environment that promotes the wellbeing and independence of residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Support residents in mobility and transportation needs.
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment for all residents.
- Document and communicate residents’ progress and changes in condition to nursing staff.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in a caregiving role or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor towards residents.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to changing situations.
