The Respiratory Care Assistant is responsible for assembling, cleaning, and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment while assisting the Special Procedures team with bronchoscopy duties. They also perform patient care procedures such as electrocardiograms and manage departmental supply stocking. Candidates must have a high school diploma and possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. No prior experience is required, but the role demands strong communication skills, technical aptitude for equipment calibration, and the ability to work under pressure.
