Job Summary
The primary role involves delivering respiratory therapy services within an acute care hospital environment. This position requires a commitment to night shift work and may involve floating to a sister facility as needed.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients in an acute care setting.
- Provide care during night shifts, ensuring continuous support for patients.
- Float to a sister hospital as necessary, ensuring consistent quality of care across facilities.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid California Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
- Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- A minimum of one year of recent experience in acute care respiratory therapy.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is also required.
