**Job Title:** Restorative Aide
The Restorative Aide plays a crucial role in aiding residents to reach their fullest potential in physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. This involves the implementation of targeted exercise regimens and wellness initiatives. In addition, the Restorative Aide collaborates with therapy departments, maintains detailed records of resident progress, and effectively communicates the objectives of programs to both families and staff members. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of appropriate body mechanics, safety protocols for fall prevention, and knowledge of how medications may influence resident engagement. They are responsible for adhering to instructions from physical, occupational, and speech therapy units.
