Job Summary
The technician plays a crucial role in the installation, upkeep, and repair of network devices including routers, switches, and Point of Sale (POS) systems in multiple retail settings. This position requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all systems function optimally and that network performance meets the required standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair network equipment such as routers and switches.
- Work on POS systems within a variety of retail environments.
- Execute cabling tasks and resolve connectivity problems.
- Perform Wi-Fi signal testing to guarantee superior network performance.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in IT or a technical role is essential.
- A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for transportation is required.
- Must have the physical capability to lift up to 60 lbs, ascend ladders, and work in diverse environments, including crawl spaces.
