Job Summary
The RN (Registered Nurse) plays a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the delivery of effective healthcare services. RNs are responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans. They work collaboratively with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and deliver compassionate care to those in need.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their healthcare needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for their effectiveness.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to facilitate coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Supervise nursing assistants and support staff as necessary.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred or an associate degree with relevant experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
