Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering tailored patient care by evaluating, designing, and executing evidence-based care strategies. This role requires effective delegation of nursing responsibilities, guidance for fellow staff members, and collaboration with the healthcare team to achieve favorable patient results.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients to develop and implement evidence-based care plans.
- Delegate nursing tasks and provide mentorship to nursing staff.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Possession of a valid nursing license in the state of Iowa.
- Mandatory certifications include Basic Life Support; Advanced Cardiac Life Support and NIH Stroke Scale certifications are to be obtained within designated timeframes post-hire.
