Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a pivotal role in providing patient care across various healthcare settings. This professional is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care based on individual needs. The RN collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing services, applying their extensive knowledge and skills in clinical practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop customized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health status.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care processes.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families.
Qualifications
- Possession of a current Registered Nurse license in the relevant state.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
- Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting is advantageous.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication abilities for effective patient interaction.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is often required.
