Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive patient care across various settings. This position involves working closely with medical professionals to provide a high standard of healthcare, educate patients and families, and support the overall well-being of patients. RNs are responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose patient health conditions through direct observation and examinations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and improve health outcomes.
- Document patient care activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and protocols.
- Stay updated on medical advancements and changes in regulations that affect nursing practices.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Experience in a specific area of nursing may be preferred, depending on the position.
