Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for executing the patient care delivery model through assessments, nursing diagnoses, and interventions specifically for pediatric patients with hematology and oncology conditions. This role requires collaboration with various multidisciplinary teams to ensure compassionate, evidence-driven care while representing the interests of patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Implement the patient care delivery model for pediatric hematology/oncology patients.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate nursing diagnoses.
- Carry out appropriate nursing interventions.
- Work together with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care.
- Advocate for the needs and concerns of patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) is required.
- Possession of an active Florida RN license or a multi-state RN license.
- A minimum of 6 months of RN experience is necessary.
- Experience in pediatric hematology/oncology is preferred.
- APHON certification is an advantage.
