Job Summary
The Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in the management and provision of patient care by applying the nursing process, which encompasses assessment, planning, and intervention. This position also includes supervising and coordinating activities of licensed and unlicensed personnel, as well as offering mentorship to students and staff within the healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver patient care through the nursing process.
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Implement nursing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Supervise and coordinate the efforts of both licensed and non-licensed team members.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing students and staff.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or a multistate compact license.
- Required to obtain a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of employment.
