Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is tasked with overseeing and implementing patient care by employing the nursing process, which encompasses assessment, planning, and intervention strategies. This role also involves supervising and directing both licensed and unlicensed personnel, while offering guidance and mentorship to students and fellow staff members.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver patient care through comprehensive nursing practices.
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and facilitate interventions for patients.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of both licensed and unlicensed healthcare staff.
- Provide mentorship and support to nursing students and other team members.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma or a compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
