Job Summary
The Nursing Supervisor plays a crucial role in upholding nursing standards and overseeing nursing activities during the night shift. This position serves as a clinical resource, ensuring that the care provided to residents is of high quality, safe, and suitable.
Responsibilities
- Maintain nursing standards and practices within the facility.
- Coordinate nursing activities and ensure effective communication among staff.
- Supervise nursing personnel during the night shift.
- Act as a clinical resource for nursing staff and assist with complex care situations.
- Monitor the quality and appropriateness of resident care.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid RN license in the State of Connecticut.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- A degree in nursing or a related healthcare field is necessary.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a nursing setting is preferred.
