Job Summary
This position involves the operation of linear accelerators, simulators, and x-ray machinery to deliver radiation therapy for cancer treatment under the guidance of physicians. Responsibilities
- Operate linear accelerators, simulators, and x-ray equipment for radiation therapy.
- Ensure proper patient positioning to maximize safety and treatment effectiveness.
- Maintain open communication with medical staff and patients throughout the treatment process.
Qualifications
- Completion of a radiation therapy program approved by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists.
- Possession of a current certification from the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
