The scrub assistant performs surgical scrub procedures in the Delivery OR and assists with vaginal deliveries while maintaining a sterile field. Additionally, the role involves clerical duties such as transcribing physician orders, managing supply inventories, and coordinating patient communications. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a current BLS certification. Previous experience in a scrub or clerical role and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred.
