Job Summary
The Senior Accountant position is based in Denton, Texas, and requires an onsite presence. This role is a vital part of the Finance Division, specifically within the Accounting team. The primary responsibility of the Senior Accountant is to oversee financial reporting and ensure that project expenditures align with fiscal control measures while adhering to internal compliance policies.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial reporting and ensure accuracy in all financial documents.
- Monitor project expenditures to maintain budget controls.
- Guarantee adherence to internal policies and compliance standards.
- Assist in the implementation of fiscal controls for better financial management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; OR a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in accounting practices and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of budget management and fiscal control.
- Detail-oriented and capable of ensuring compliance with internal policies.
