Job Summary
The Senior Accountant plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of financial records and reports. This position involves the preparation of month-end journal entries, reconciliation of inventory, and the generation of financial reports. Additionally, the Senior Accountant supports budget development, assists in audits, and manages the processing of accounts payable and receivable.
Responsibilities
- Maintain precise financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
- Prepare month-end journal entries and reconcile inventory.
- Generate comprehensive financial reports for analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets to support financial planning.
- Provide support during the audit process, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Oversee the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Two to three years of progressive experience in accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
