**Senior Accountant**
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing general ledger operations, facilitating the monthly and annual closing processes, and maintaining financial integrity through precise reporting and adherence to compliance standards. This role also includes providing expert guidance in technical accounting, overseeing grant-related financial reporting, and assisting with internal audits, all while working collaboratively with various departments. Ideal candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, along with 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience. A solid understanding of GAAP, nonprofit accounting principles, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential, and possessing a CPA license is highly desirable.
