The Senior Certified Medical Assistant delivers direct patient care while working under the guidance of a healthcare provider and serves as a mentor for best practices in the profession. This role involves maintaining clinical documentation, administering medications, and overseeing the implementation of quality improvement projects within the practice. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with the successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program. Additionally, candidates must have at least three years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant and hold a current BLS certification.
